Smartgyro, a global provider of marine stabilization technology proudly reflects on a successful and significant year as it announces further expansion of its dealer and distributor network in line with 2024 growth projections.
Smartgyro experienced a period of rapid growth this year while also celebrating its 10-year anniversary. As demand for gyro stabilization solutions extended across numerous marine markets, Smartgyro’s global footprint expanded into emerging EMEA regions as well as APAC and the U.S.
This strategic growth brings Smartgyro's advanced marine stabilization systems to some of the world’s most vibrant and expanding leisure boating markets such as New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Korea, and South Europe, underscoring the brand's commitment to global accessibility and product excellence.
Recently signed new U.S. based Smartgyro dealer, Jack Williams of Williams Marine Group commented: “By working with Smartgyro, Williams Marine can offer our customers a stabilization option that will allow boat owners to spend more quality time on the water, and less time tied to the dock. We believe Smartgyro’s modular design, incorporating a built-in vacuum pump, affords our customers a more reliable stabilizer and improved experience at sea.”
The milestone year was kickstarted by the appointment of new CEO Carlo Galli in April who has been focused not only on collaborations within the distribution network, but also on improving and extending the Smartgyro product range.
Commenting on a rewarding 2024, Carlo Galli said: “It’s been a positive year for Smartgyro in terms of innovation, resilience, and collaboration. As we expand our global footprint, the support of YANMAR and the synergies within its Recreational Marine Business Unit have been crucial. Together, we will continue to shape the future of exceptional marine experiences and drive growth in both established and emerging markets.”
Supporting the wider global marine industry, Smartgyro has attended numerous international boat and trade shows throughout the year which has been key to solidifying collaborations and connecting in new markets as well as showcasing innovative and pioneering applications such as Bluegame’s BGM75 catamaran – a world first in the stabilization of a multihull.
Smartgyro will begin 2025 with its attendance at boot Düsseldorf in January, where the company will display its gyro models to visitors and the industry. The Smartgyro team will be located in Hall 10, Stand D40.
The expansion seen throughout 2024 is about more than a growth and milestones for Smartgyro; it’s a testament to Smartgyro’s ongoing commitment in supporting the global boating community with innovative, flexible and unique solutions.
Smartgyro’s continuing focus on innovations and fostering strong partnerships around the globe ensures a bright future for its gyrostabilizers and its mission to provide unmatched stability on the water to boaters worldwide.
