As boot Düsseldorf 2025 draws to a close, Smartgyro is thrilled to reflect on an event that has set the stage for another year of innovation and excellence in the marine industry. With the world’s largest indoor yacht and watersports show serving as the perfect platform, we showcased our state-of-the-art stabilization technology to over 200 thousand visitors. This year’s show was buzzing with excitement and enthusiasm for the latest developments in marine technology, and Smartgyro was right at the heart of it.
Groundbreaking Stabilization Technology
A key highlight of our presence at the show was the presentation of our SG20 and SG40 stabilization systems. These gyro stabilizers, designed for boats between 45 and 60 feet, are engineered to reduce roll motion by up to 95%, providing boaters with unmatched comfort and stability. Whether for new builds or retrofit projects, both systems are ideal for recreational powerboats and light-duty commercial vessels.
The show gave us the opportunity to demonstrate how Smartgyro’s systems seamlessly integrate with multifunction displays (MFDs), offering effortless control and improved functionality. The ability to service these systems onboard without the need for costly lift-outs was also a significant talking point, highlighting the ease and cost efficiency that comes with Smartgyro stabilizers.
Industry Trends at boot Düsseldorf
This year’s boot Düsseldorf was a true reflection of the evolving marine industry. Key trends at the show emphasised sustainability, technological integration, and performance. As the demand for environmentally friendly solutions grows, Smartgyro’s stabilization systems align perfectly with the industry's shift toward reducing maintenance requirements and improving operational efficiency.
Many exhibitors focused on providing cost-effective solutions which enable boaters to maximise their time on the water. We are proud to offer high-performance, low-maintenance stabilizers that not only improve comfort but also minimize downtime and maintenance costs.
Integration was another key trend at boot Düsseldorf. With increasing emphasis on creating more streamlined, user-friendly onboard experiences, Smartgyro’s stabilizers easily integrate with a wide range of other systems, including navigation, control, and monitoring systems.
Examples of this integration include the adoption of Smartgyro technology onboard commercial vessels such as survey boats, rescue boats and military vessels, reducing roll allows for more effective use of on-board equipment. There are extra details on just how we are doing this here.
We are actively supporting this trend towards seamless onboard integration, ensuring our products are adaptable and can work seamlessly with other technologies.
The Future of Stabilization
As we look ahead, Smartgyro is excited to continue our journey of innovation. With boot Düsseldorf 2025 marking the beginning of a new year, we are more committed than ever to advancing stabilization technology that enhances comfort, safety and performance.
The success of the show demonstrates that Smartgyro is leading the way in stabilization technology, with a focus on providing solutions that are not only effective but also user-friendly. We’re looking forward to working closely with our partners, customers, and the wider industry to continue pushing boundaries and improving the boating experience.
Thank you to everyone who visited us at boot Düsseldorf 2025. We’re excited for what’s to come, and we look forward to seeing you out on the water!
