The Genoa International Boat Show remains a special occasion, an opportunity to connect with partners, shipyards, and boating enthusiasts in the heart of Italy. This year’s edition brought excellent engagement, reinforcing the company’s expanding market recognition and the appreciation for Smartgyro’s blend of Italian design, quality craftsmanship, and engineering precision.
A highlight of the show was the Bluegame BG54 sea trial, where media experienced firsthand the stability and control offered by Smartgyro technology.
IBEX: Strengthening Global Footprint
Smartgyro marked its fifth participation at IBEX, reaffirming its commitment to the North and South American markets. Positioned once again as a key exhibitor, the Smartgyro team met with boatbuilders, designers, and decision-makers from the U.S., South America, and the Caribbean.

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show: Strategic Growth and Collaboration
At this year’s FLIBS, Smartgyro’s move to a new location inside the Yacht Builders Tent proved to be a strategic success, delivering increased visibility and stronger visitor traffic among premium yacht manufacturers.
The event facilitated meaningful discussions with yacht and sportfishing boat builders from across the Americas, offering valuable insights into Smartgyro’s expanding technology applications. Collaboration with VETUS Inc. and MAXWELL further showcased the synergy within the Yanmar Marine family, reinforcing shared innovation and support across product lines.
FLIBS also marked an important milestone for Smartgyro with the official U.S. debut of the Bluegame BGM75, a vessel equipped with two SG80 units (one per hull) developed with a custom algorithm designed to address the asynchronous dynamics of multihulls. This achievement confirms Smartgyro’s ability to engineer high-performance solutions for complex configurations.
The event underscored Smartgyro’s expanding role in North America, and the company now looks ahead to its next U.S. presence at the Miami International Boat Show, continuing a strong season of engagement in the region.
Metstrade: Showcasing new technology
Proudly located within the Superyacht Zone, exciting conversations were had with emany of the 20,000 visitors made up of customers, dealers and OEMs, during the show’s largest edition to date.
The Smartgyro team showcased the battery-powered integration for the SG20 gyro stabilizer, sharing how the stabilizer runs silently off the battery, making night-time anchoring or slow cruising even more peaceful.
