THE EVOLUTION OF SMARTGYRO’s R&D

Smartgyro's R&D journey began with a small team that did everything from designing the testing machines, to creating the prototype and carrying out manual testing. As the company grew and ventured into larger scale production, a strategic shift occurred. Automation became a key aspect, supporting the team’s efforts, allowing the team to focus more on developmental endeavours.

Today, a larger R&D team is  combining expertise in software and hardware to bring cutting-edge marine stabilization solutions to the market. But it doesn’t stop here, in fact the R&D team are going from strength to strength to develop initiatives in this area. In recent news Smartgyro has positioned founding member, Fabrizio Stifani, as the new Research and Development Manager, newly responsible for forging the way forward with Smartgyro’s efforts in research, innovation, and product development. With a proven track record in driving Smartgyro’s research initiatives and contributing to the company's technological advancements since its inception, Fabrizio is well-placed to head up the team. Fabrizio is part of Smartgyro’s DNA, and his experience with Smartgyro’s product journey, helps him to guide the R&D department into the next phase and we can’t wait to see where this leads in the future.
